Why it exists
Hydroponics and aquaponics are mostly taught through scattered videos, forum threads, and thick books. Beginners and teachers have no clear place to start. Sprout & Fin is that place: short lessons, something to try in each one, and facts you can trust.
It is an independent, non-commercial project. There are no ads, no accounts, no paid tier, and no product recommendations.
How the lessons are checked
- Every fact is checked against published references, such as university extension guides and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
- Where good sources disagree, the lesson gives the range and says so.
- Every lesson lists its sources. See all sources.
- Mistakes are fixed in public. See the corrections log.
Reuse
The lessons are released under CC BY-NC 4.0. Schools and nonprofits are welcome to reuse them with credit.
